It is my pleasure to welcome you on the website of the newly established Vietnamese-German University (VGU).
The VGU is an international, German-modelled Vietnamese State University. It was founded on 29 February 2008. Its mission is providing higher education and conducting research on  highest international quality standards. Its vision is becoming one of the top 200 research universities by 2020.

Teaching, learning and research will be supported by a network of renowned German universities. VGU is committed to attracting high-potential students from Vietnam, Southeast and East Asia and all over the world. Admission to VGU will be very competitive and only the best students will be selected for our programs. The special feature of VGU is its strong link to industry and its intensive international academic cooperation.

We are thus providing the students with a stimulating, rewarding and challenging environment in which to learn, to live, and to develop a personality with cutting-edge knowledge and leadership skills.
